Sailing Lessons for
Children & Adults!
New adult weekend course added
to our schedule June 14, 15, 21 & 22, 9am-1pm.
Sailing is a unique
sport. After gaining basic knowledge you can utilize your
skills on all sizes of sailboats for your entire life. You
may sail by yourself or with a group: cruise the Gulf Islands or
beach sail on a summer day, the choice is yours!
MacSailing is the first sailing
school in Canada to encompass instruction from the novice to
the expert racing sailor. Our goal is to offer a complete sailing
experience based upon excellent instruction, safe environment,
utilizing equipment appropriate for all ages in a fun and dynamic
atmosphere. All of our coaches are Canadian Yachting Association
certified with water safety and first-aid training.
In addition to instruction MacSailing offers a
complete sailboat
rental facility available to all qualified sailors.
MacSailing is accepting applications for
coaches with 3+ years of teaching experience and CYA or RYA
certification for July and August. Please contact us by telephone

Located in the Jericho Sailing Centre,
MacSailing enjoys a great beach location and access to the best
sailing venue in Vancouver and Canada.
MacSailing is owned and operated by current and
past members of Canada's National Sailing Team. The coaching staff
includes four coaches with head coach certification and three
senior instructors. MacSailing was founded by Ross and Marcia
Macdonald, Ross is a two-time Olympic Medallist (1992 and 2004).
The Managing Director is Dave Thomas, a member of the Canadian
Yachting Association, Learn-to-Sail committee and ex-head coach of
the Canadian National Sailing Team.
