Sailing Lessons for Kids

Youth Learn-To-Sail

MacSailing's popular Youth Summer Programs run Monday to Friday each week of the summer and are available in either the morning (9:00am to noon) or the afternoon (1:00 - 4:00pm). 

Lessons are taught in Optimists for children ages 7-10 and in Escapes for those aged 10-14. We offer a fun week of sailing aimed at giving the best instruction around. We also offer the Youth Canadian Yachting Association Program which follows a national curriculum and includes CYA certification for ages 11-16.

MacSailing has lifejackets and 'shortie' wetsuits for kids that feel the cold and would like to wear one. Participants just need to bring a change of clothes, sun hat and soft soled shoes that will get wet.
