The Canadian Coast Guard Pleasure Craft Operator Card

Who Needs a Pleasure Craft Operator Card?

• After September 15, 1999, all operators of powered craft who were under 16 years of age on April 1, 1999.

• After September 15, 2002, all operators of powered craft less than 4 meters (13.12').

• After September 15, 2009, all operators of powered craft of any size.

The Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) exam can be written at MacSailing. The exam consists of thirty-six multiple choice questions. To receive your PCOC Card you must obtain a mark of 75% or better on the exam.

• PCOC Manual .................................$10.65  - OPTIONAL

• Challenge examination and PCOC...................$25 plus GST

• Review session with examination and PCOC...$40 plus GST

PCOC Review and Test Dates:  5:00pm Wednesdays June 11 and 25; July 9 and 23 and August 6.
