FAQs
Q: Do I need to
know how to swim?
A: You will always be wearing a lifejacket, however you
should feel confortable in the water.
Q: Is there
parking available?
A: There is pay-parking available outside the Jericho
Sailing Centre. Cost is $2.00/three hours. Parking is free during
the fall, winter and early spring!
Q: How long
before class should I arrive?
A: Plan to arrive twenty minutes prior to the start of your
first class. The office staff will help you get oriented, collect
any outstanding balances, and have you sign a waiver
form.
Q: What is your
cancellation policy?
A: A full refund less a $20.00 cancellation fee will apply
to cancellations received 10 or more days prior to program starting
date. If cancelled between 5 and 9 days prior to starting date, a
50% charge will apply. If cancelled less than 5 days prior to
program starting date, no refund will be given.
Q: Do I need to
pre-book rentals?
A: We advise pre booking since sometimes boats are being
used for lessons. Also we can ensure boats are rigged and ready to
go when you arrive!

be a member of Jericho Sailing Centre to take lessons or rent
boats?
