CANSail 1 and 2 are the introductory levels. In CANSail 1 you can expect to learn sailing terminology, points of sail, tacking, gybing, safety, righting a capsized boat and knot tying. CANSail 1 classes are taught on our Escapes and Pirates. In CANSail 2 you will develop your sailing techniques while learning about sail theory, local geography, weather and right of way rules. CANSail 2 is taught using lasers, laser >>’s and 420′s. Upon completion of CANSail 2 you will be able to confidently skipper your own small sailboat.
