Please phone ahead or e-mail for all rentals to ensure the availability of the type of boat you are qualified for and would like to sail. MacSailing rents boats by the hour. MacSailing is open for rentals from 12-6 on week-ends. We rent during the week and the best time is usually around noon or 4:00 pm.

Escape
The easiest boat to sail! Very stable and suitable for novice sailors and those who have not been sailing in a while. Capacity is 1-2 people. CYA White Sail level II or equivalent is required. Cost is $40/hour including taxes, wetsuit and lifejacket |

Laser
Responsive and fast! In order to rent a Laser you must have White Sail III or equivalent certification. Capacity is 1 or 2 people. Cost is $45/hour including taxes, wetsuit and lifejacket |

Pirate
A stable 14 foot dinghy with two sails. Suitable for White Sail II sailors or equivalent. We recommend the Pirate to those wishing to take their kids along. Min. of 2 and max. of 3 people allowed in the boat. Cost is $45/hour including taxes, wetsuits and lifejackets |

Laser >>A 14 foot high performance dinghy. You must have White Sail III certificate or equivalent to rent Laser >>’s. Capacity is min/max 2 people.

A 14 foot monohull with a min/max capacity of 2 people. Rental does not include spinnaker. White Sail III or equivalent required. Cost is $50/hour including taxes, wetsuits and lifejackets |

Hobie
The Getaway is very easy to sail and FAST! We have trapeze harnesses available, but are not necessary. You must have White Sail III cert or equivalent to rent Hobie. Minimum of 2 people and max of 4 required to sail the hobie. Cost is $65/hour including taxes, wetsuits and lifejackets |
Anyone wishing to rent boats must have one of the following qualifications:
- Holder of CYA White Sail II or higher for Escapes and Pirates
- Holder of CYA White Sail III or higher for Lasers, 420s and Laser>>’s
- Proof of equivalent certification
MacSailing reserves the right to refuse rentals at any time. A fee of $35 will be charged for rescues. We only rent to experienced sailors when the wind is over 14 knots.
