MacSailing offers our corporate customers a variety of programs designed to meet your corporate development or social needs. It can include 3 hour sessions, full day event BBQ/picnic, or full courses including Canadian Yachting Association certification. Our staff are fully certified and bring many years of experience and knowledge to share with you. MacSailing’s corporate programs can also include full food and beverage service in conjunction with The Galley Restaurant and Patio – known as Vancouver’s Beachfront casual dining oasis.

| Treat employees or customers to 3 hours of sailing instruction from MacSailing’s passionate and experienced instructors. Instructors will explain and demonstrate technique, points of sail, steering and balance. Our focus is on-water activities so that participants have an opportunity to experience sailing for themselves. | |

| A great way to get co-workers and families together in a social setting. Traditionally groups of up to 30 shuttle through our 2 hour lesson while others enjoy the surroundings at beautiful Jericho beach. We are able to partner with “The Galley” to provide food or you can bring your own(BBQ/Picnic) and set up at the park or beach nearby. These events usually run from 11am till 4pm in the afternoon.We are capable of accommodating up to 90 people. | |

| CYA WHITE SAIL I & II |

| A 15 hour program conducted over a flexible set of dates. This program follows the Canadian Yachting Association White Sail I & II Curriculum. The program includes tacking, gybing, capsize recovery, sailing theory and water safety. | |

GEAR:
MacSailing has four fleets of boats so that participants can sail boats that match their physical size and capabilities. Students usually sail two or three per boat depending on the wind condition and class size. Knowing that beginners may not have easy access to essential sailing clothing, MacSailing happily supplies life jackets and wet suits for all students. Participants only need to bring a bathing suit, towel, water shoes and a change of clothes.
LOCATION:
MacSailing is located within Jericho Sailing Centre at Jericho Beach Park. The Centre has full changing facilities with hot showers, 600 parking stalls and a cafeteria overlooking English Bay and the North Shore Mountains.
BOOKINGS:
Bookings are available from April to November. Available time slots are 9am-12pm; 1pm- 4pm; or 4pm-7pm. Please call MacSailing at 224-SAIL (7245) or e-mail macsailing@telus.net to schedule your group bookings.A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of group booking. The number of participants must be confirmed one week prior to the course starting date. The balance of fees are due at that time.
