Our race team will train on week-ends
until the end of October. The schedule includes:

The Mac
race team has sailed together during the spring and fall since
2007. Our team of coaches have a wealth of experience from a
variety of racing backgrounds. Every year the team participates in
several regattas around the Pacific Northwest. Six sailors from
MacSailing participated in the 2009 Canadian Junior Championships
and 21 sailed in the 2011 Commodores's Cup winning multiple
medals.
The Mac
race team features kids aged 11-18. We train weekly during the
spring and fall and compete in selected junior regattas around the
Pacific Northwest. Many of
the race team members go on to race internationally or become CYA
certified coaches and work at MacSailing and other sailing schools
in Canada. The program focuses on Optimist, Lasers, Radials and
420s. Participants must have completed courses to join the
team.
