Wet Feet - 5
& 6 Year old Introductory Course
Wet Feet is a program aimed at young children 5 and 6
years of age who want to learn about sailing and water
safety. The goal of this program is to get children
comfortable in small boats and introduce basic sailing
concepts. Although participants will learn basic sailing
skills, children will most likely not be able to sail on their own
at the completion of this course.
The program is a fun introduction for kids that are too young
for the normal Introduction to Optimist program. It is taught by
coaches with specific training in early childhood education and the
'Wet Feet' curriculum.
MacSailing will run three 'Wet Feet' sessions in
2010.
