I
Students share a boat
with another student and can expect to learn how to rig and de-rig
the boats, capsize recovery, understanding the wind, how to tack
and how to tie knots.
Level
II
A continuation of
level I, however, students can now sail by themselves. In Level II
students are introduced to the different points of sail and the
basic rules of the road, They will be taught how to sail in
stronger winds and waves along with proper
seamanship.
MacSailing's
children's courses are eligible for the Canadian Government
Children's Fitness Tax Credit.
