RACE TEAM HISTORY
The Mac race team has sailed together during the spring and fall since 2005. Our team of coaches have a wealth of experience from a variety of racing backgrounds. Every year the team participates in several regattas around the Pacific Northwest. Six sailors from MacSailing participated in the 2009 Canadian Junior Championships and 21 sailed in the 2011 Commodores’s Cup winning multiple medals. Many of the race team members go on to race internationally or become CYA certified coaches and work at MacSailing and other sailing schools in Canada.
